October of 1994, we moved our family from Alburquerque, New Mexico to Denver and opened a small family business
known as "The Chile Shop". "Jack II" and "Diego" our sons, "Desiree'" our daughter,
all sacrificed the big move to this fine town. To supplement our income we started catering at some of the local car dealerships.
We then started to cook outside on a four foot propane griddle on the weekends. Our customers demanded we open a restaurant.
So, March of 2000 we opened the doors to "Jack-n-Grill". Since then, our family has grown, we have a wonderful daughter-n-law,
"Therese", and a great new adopted son "Eppie". We are the proud grandparents of six! "Izabell",
"Jack III", "Dezmond", "Ana", "Rudy" and "Dayliha". My brother Scott and
his wife Kathy also came on board to help serve you better. August, September and October you will see our family roasting
fresh green chile from "Socorro, New Mexico", outside by our patio.
